file browser suggestions for fluxbox

Postby hostonbarry on January 21st, 2010, 7:33 pm

Hello, I've recently switched from KDE to fluxbox and I have to say I like the light weight feel a lot better. One thing I do miss, however, is the file browser KDE offered, konqueror. I suppose it is probably possible to use konqueror in fluxbox, but I was wondering if there are any other (possibbly better) file browsers that you guys use in fluxbox. Thanks.

Though you still could use Konqueror under Fluxbox, you know that. Just run kdeinit before starting it. You could make it a script, or something that loads in the background on boot. There are few better things in Linux than Konqueror IMHO.
