Somebody know how to change it?? I'm trying to work on Linux system but it's more a fight then pleasure so far
sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorgYakuzza wrote:OK, never mindI have found the solution. So what I did was to write in console:
- Code: Select all
sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg
then actually I have just pressing Enter all the time living all the options as default. The program automatically detect my monitor, all the display resolutions (including 1440x900), refresh rate and other parameters. But after you finish this configuration you need to Logout or restart in order this changes to take effect.
I think there is also another way to do this by editing file /etc/X11/xorg.conf , but I don't know the details.
See You All and mucha suerte amigos
