JOHN THE RIPPER

Postby albanian on September 3rd, 2009, 1:23 am

I INSTALLED "JOHN THE RIPPER" AND WHEN I WAS EXPERIMENTING SOME STUFF( sudo usseradd test, sudo passwd test, sudo john /etc/shadow) JUST FOR START UP, I ACCIDENTALLY CLOSED THE TERMINATOR WHEN IT WAS LOOKING FOR PASSWORDS. NOW EVERYTIME I WANT TO CRACK A PASSWORD IT GETS ME : crash recovery file is locked : restore. HOW CAN I RESTORE IT? CAN YOU HELP ME?
