Getting Matlab (and java related things) to work in Fedora 8

libX11 has been updated which breaks compatibility with java. Here is a quick and simple fix:

# yum -y install compat-libstdc++-33
# sed -i 's/XINERAMA/FAKEEXTN/g' /opt/jre1.6.0_03/lib/i386/xawt/libmawt.so
